DIY concentrates
Dissolve each mineral in a separate 1000 mL batch of distilled/deionized water to make the concentrate. This creates a solution with a GH or KH (as CaCO3) of 1000ppm.
For first-timers, we suggest starting with Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate (epsom salt) as the hardness source and Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) as the alkalinity source.
